Should I wait for the 5070 Super or go for the 9060 XT now?

Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a dilemma about upgrading my GPU. I'm trying to decide between waiting for the upcoming 5070 Super with 18GB or just going ahead and buying the 9060 XT with 16GB that's available now. My main goal is to play games like Rainbow Six Siege, Fortnite, and World of Tanks at 1440p with at least 144 FPS. I'm also hoping to run Battlefield 6 at high settings when it drops. I generally prioritize high FPS for gaming, but I also enjoy some AAA titles here and there. My budget is under €1000, so any advice would be super helpful!

Honestly, the 9060 XT and the 5070 Super are in completely different performance brackets. The 5070 is anticipated to offer around 65% better performance but will come at twice the price of the 9060 XT. If playing 1440p games with high FPS is your goal, the 5070 is definitely the way to go. Personally, I'm with the 9060 XT and getting about 120 FPS on most games at 1080p, but I know I’ll need an upgrade for 1440p.

That's true! I heard the new 5070 will be priced around $549, but some variants might jump to $799. That could drive down the price of the older models, possibly making them a good bargain!
