Having Issues with New RAM on My Motherboard

I recently added a new set of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM to my Asus ROG Strix Z790-A motherboard. I already had two sticks of the same RAM for the last two years and thought it would be a simple upgrade to go from 2 to 4 sticks. I installed the new ones in slots A1 and B1, but my computer didn't recognize them. After moving all the sticks around and ensuring they were seated properly, I turned the computer on and now I'm getting no signal to my monitors along with a yellow light on my motherboard, indicating a memory issue.

I've tried several troubleshooting steps: reseating the RAM one stick at a time, removing the new RAM and using the original sticks in A2 and B2, reseating the GPU, swapping HDMI cables, resetting the CPU applied paste, unplugging and replugging the ATX-24 cable, disconnecting everything, and pressing the CMOS button. I'm stuck and haven't received a response from Asus. What should I do next?

First off, make sure you're actually using the DDR4 version of the RAM, since there is a DDR5 version of that motherboard. Have you thought about updating the BIOS? It might help fix recognition issues if that's the case.

Yes, I definitely have the DDR4 version! I actually planned to update the BIOS, but right now I can't access it because of the display issue.

It sounds like you could have a signal quality issue since all slots are being used. As a workaround, if the RAM sticks work fine individually in slots 2 and 4, you might want to consider running them in a 2x32GB configuration instead.

They do work in slots 2 and 4, but I still can't get a display on my monitors even when using just those slots.
