Why is my ASUS laptop reporting high CPU usage and temperature?

I launched my ASUS laptop today and checked the MyASUS app. It indicated that my CPU (Intel Pentium 6805) was running at 100% load and a temperature of 80°C. However, Task Manager showed the CPU load at only 42%. I ran a fan diagnostic and everything seems fine. What could be causing this discrepancy?

The discrepancy between MyASUS and Task Manager can be puzzling. But don't sweat the temps too much; your Pentium 6805 can handle up to 100°C. If you stay under 90°C, you should be fine. Also, laptops usually throttle when unplugged to save power, which might explain some of the temperature changes you’re seeing. For better monitoring, consider using HWiNFO; it gives a more detailed read on CPU and temps.

I noticed after unplugging my laptop, the MyASUS tool showed the temp dropping to 60°C, while CPU usage fluctuated from 50% to 100%. It's likely that power settings are altering performance when unplugged.
