Does Resizable BAR Actually Improve Performance in Games?

I've been testing out Resizable BAR with my system, and I'm not seeing any performance boost. For reference, in GTA V, I usually get around 110-130 FPS without it enabled. However, with Resizable BAR turned on, my FPS drops to about 70-80, and in some cases down to 60. My GPU usage also seems really low at just about 50%, and I'm only using 5.5GB of memory when my Arc 750 has 8GB. I'm a bit confused about whether it's worth keeping enabled or if there's another issue at play here.

You might want to try out other games to see how Resizable BAR affects them. Sometimes you can mistake the impact on performance. Keep in mind that GTA V is an older game running on DirectX 11, so it may not benefit as much from the feature as newer titles.

Exactly, older games might not really show improvements at all. In some cases, they could even run worse with it enabled.
