Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a solid certification in Docker. I came across the Mirantis Docker Certified Associate (DCA) certification, but I noticed they seem to focus heavily on their own products, like the Mirantis registry and Kubernetes. I'm really looking for something that is more generalized and applicable across different platforms. Any recommendations or insights on reputable Docker certifications?

You might want to check with the Docker Captains for the latest on this! I can confirm that currently, there isn’t an official certification directly from Docker. They mentioned they’re working on it, but for now, you may want to explore other courses that offer certifications in various Docker-related topics.
Appreciate the update! I’m eager to see what they come up with.
I think a basic certification exam would be awesome! Something like creating a reproducible Dockerfile for a Node.js or Python app with C-compilable dependencies would be a great practical test. Would definitely help me gauge a candidate's skills!

Thanks for the info! That’s a bummer, but I’ll keep an eye out for any updates on official certifications.
