Looking to Upgrade My Gaming PC, Any Advice?

I'm planning to upgrade from my current PC setup, which includes an RTX 3080 and a Ryzen 9 5900x. However, my motherboard is AM4, and my PC case is quite dirty, so I've decided that a completely new build would be best. I have a budget of $1600 and I'm wondering what specs would make the upgrade worthwhile. Here's the full parts list of my current setup: MSI RTX 3080, Ryzen 9 5900x, 16GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM (I know I should ideally have 32GB), 1TB Samsung EVO SSD, and an ROG Strix B650 A motherboard. Any advice on the specs for an upgrade?

Definitely share your full parts list if you haven’t already, it helps with giving more tailored advice. Also, don't forget that a clean build not only performs better but looks great too!

You might want to consider selling your current rig to boost your budget. With around $2000, you could get a really solid build with a 5070 Ti or possibly even a 5080!

That sounds like a great plan! But just so you know, it's sometimes tricky to sell a dirty PC with broken lights. You might want to clean it up a bit before selling to get a better price.
