What’s the Best Way to Score an Affordable RX 580?

I'm looking for advice on the best and most affordable way to purchase an RX 580. I'm based in South America, and the cheapest version I found is a Chinese variant priced at $165, while a Nitro version can go up to $330. From my research, I noticed that RX 570 and RX 580 prices can vary significantly in different regions. It seems like going for a used or second-hand model might be the best option. There are three versions of the RX 580: 4GB, an 8GB with 2304 shaders, and an 8GB with 2048 shaders, the last of which is typically a Chinese-made RX 570 designed for mining, often found on sites like AliExpress. Since testing and returns could be tricky, I want to avoid scams or ending up with a faulty GPU. What sites and vendors do you recommend based on your experiences? I've heard eBay and AliExpress come up often as reliable sources.

Just a heads-up, you're aiming for a pretty old card. It’s been out for around 8 years, and finding a new one might be tough. Getting a second-hand model definitely has its risks—maybe it works great for a while, or it could fail right after you get it. Plus, I think they stopped updating drivers for these cards a couple of years ago, so support might be minimal now. Definitely a gamble!

I don't earn much and I'm not super picky about gaming; I think I can settle for a budget GPU around $50-$100. Maybe the RX 570 or RX 580 are the best bang for my buck.
