I'm currently stuck with a pretty basic laptop while I'm waiting to upgrade my PC, and it's running 4GB of RAM. Windows takes up way too much memory and leaves me with barely any resources to work with. I'm seriously considering switching to Linux Mint. I develop a mod for Minecraft Bedrock Edition for my friends who play on console. Is it feasible to run and develop mods for Minecraft BE on Linux, especially in terms of accessing the com.mojang folder? If it's possible, how stable is it and is it an easy process?

You can definitely run it on Linux! Just check out this tutorial: [https://youtu.be/CA9FFgnmG2w?si=kEMKstEdtL3A20XK](https://youtu.be/CA9FFgnmG2w?si=kEMKstEdtL3A20XK). It should walk you through everything you need to get set up!
The Bedrock Edition is either the version on Android or the Java Edition. Honestly, I’d recommend going for the Java version since most players who own Bedrock also have Java now, and it’s generally a better option.
Yeah, there's a Minecraft Bedrock launcher available as a Flatpak. The catch is that you need to have a legitimate copy of the Android version of Minecraft because the launcher uses that as its base. If you’ve got that covered, you should be good to go!
There’s a Bedrock launcher available in the software store and Flathub. It uses the Android APK version of Minecraft Bedrock, so if you've bought the official version from Microsoft, it should work fine. But I mostly stick to Java myself, so I can’t confirm how well it runs.
Totally! The Android version works perfectly with mouse and keyboard. It’s not some weird hack or mod, it just functions really well.
