Why Does My Computer Keep Blue Screening While Gaming?

I've been facing a frustrating issue where my computer keeps blue screening with error codes like 0x0000013A, 0x00000154, and 0x0000001A. I've done some troubleshooting myself, including running commands like sfc /scannow, DISM, and CHKDSK, as well as completing a memory check and reinstalling my GPU and CPU drivers, but nothing has worked so far. This blue screen problem and the crashes only started happening a few days ago, and they occur primarily when I'm playing video games. Here's a bit of my setup: I'm using Windows 11 with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, an AMD Ryzen 5 7600x 6-Core Processor, SHPP41-2000GM SSD, an ASRock X670E Pro RS motherboard, and I have 32 GB of memory.

It sounds like you might want to start collecting dump files for a deeper analysis of those BSODs. These files can provide insights into what's causing the crashes. If you're able to boot into Windows, or Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump folder for any files there. Zip them up and share them using a file hosting platform like Catbox or MediaFire. If you have just one or none, try adjusting your system to create "Small Memory Dumps" for future crashes; they won’t overwrite previous ones. Let us know what you find!

Got it! I’ll check that folder and upload any files I find. Thanks for the tip!

The latest dump file indicates your motherboard is running an outdated BIOS version. Since there have been several updates for compatibility and stability, I recommend updating your BIOS. You can find the latest version on the ASRock support page. After updating, see if the crashes still happen, as that might resolve the issue.

Thanks for the link! I noticed my CPU temps are a bit higher than usual, but updating the BIOS seemed to help a little. Should I tweak the CPU fan settings too?
