Help! Can’t Boot into Windows After Installing Linux Mint

I recently set up a dual-boot system with Linux Mint and Windows 11 on my PC. Installation went smoothly, and I can access my Windows files through Linux. However, when I try booting into Windows, I get an error message. I've already removed Windows Hello, but it's now asking for a password that I never set. I changed the Hello password to a new one, but that didn't work on my next boot. I even tried removing the password completely, but it continues to prompt me for things I don't remember. Safe mode didn't work either, and it claims it's not connected to the network—despite being connected. I even attempted Ctrl + Alt + Delete, but nothing happened. What should I do?

Honestly, your best bet might be to take your PC to a repair shop. They can help with data recovery and sort out the boot issues for you.

I’m actually not trying to recover data—I just want to access Windows again. Not sure why that suggestion came up.

If nothing works, you might need to consider reinstalling Windows 11. Just make sure to back up your important data first to avoid any losses.

Check if your old Windows password might actually be blank. You could just try clicking submit without entering a password since it’s possible you had a local account without a password set.
