I'm really excited to be attending AWS re:Invent this year from December 1-5, but I have an end-term exam at university. This means I might have to leave on December 4 instead of the 5th. Is it okay to leave a day early? Also, are there any must-see activities or important sessions scheduled for the last day that I would be missing?

The last day usually wraps up pretty early, typically only until noon. Most sessions are either repeats or cover topics from earlier keynotes. You could check the full agenda to see what’s scheduled, but don't worry too much about missing out!
I usually head out Thursday night. The last day doesn't have much going on, so if you need to study for that exam, you won't be missing much really.
Honestly, it's totally fine if you need to leave a day early. No one checks attendance, so you can enjoy Vegas and skip the last day if you want!
Yeah, just have fun! It's more about the experience than strict attendance.
