I'm curious if it's possible to catch malware on an iPhone just by using the 'save image as' feature from Google Images. I remember saving some images a while back from a specific site without actually visiting it, and I'm wondering if those could have been risky. I didn't click on anything, just zoomed in on the images and cleared my history. Is it really a concern?

Technically, yes, but it's extremely unlikely. There could be rare exploits linked to saving images, but those types of attacks are usually aimed at high-profile targets. In most situations, the exploits that are easy to spread get detected and patched quickly, so you shouldn’t stress too much about this.
Gotcha! If nothing bad happened two years ago, I guess I shouldn't worry now. Just to clarify, using 'save image as' wouldn’t likely give me a virus, right? It’s just a JPEG even if the site has malware?
