Hey everyone! I recently upgraded to a 5080 GPU and a 500Hz 1440p QD-OLED monitor with Gsync and VRR features. I can easily get over 500 FPS in my games, so I'm curious about how to optimize my settings for the best performance and lowest latency. Should I be adjusting something in the Nvidia control panel or the monitor's settings? Also, is there a recommended FPS cap I should apply, or should I just let it run as high as it can? I play a lot of competitive games, so I'm aiming for the best possible performance. Thanks!

Honestly, I wouldn't cap your FPS at all. The more frames you pump out, the lower your latency will be! With your high refresh rate monitor, you won't need to mess with sync or VRR settings since those can actually introduce some delays, even if it's minimal. Just maximize your FPS for the best performance!

Thanks for the tip! Should I set the Nvidia low latency option to ultra in the control panel?
