Why Did My PC Audio Suddenly Stop Working?

Hey everyone, I'm really confused about this issue—my PC audio just stopped working out of nowhere. I left my computer for about 10-15 minutes, and when I came back, there was no sound at all. I'm pretty sure no one else was on it, and the last thing I was doing was streaming a show. I've tried restarting my PC several times, and I even tested my headphones on another device to confirm they're working. My headset is selected in the sound settings, and I've made sure that neither the PC nor my headphone volume is muted. My audio drivers are up to date, too. I'm not super tech-savvy, so I'm at a loss here. I searched for solutions online, but they mostly cover what I've already tried. Is there anything else I can do to fix this? Or do you need more info from me?

If you're on a desktop, you might want to check if the speakers are working at all. Sometimes switching the audio port can help—have you tried connecting your headphones to a different port? Also, make sure no audio settings have changed in your system after the break.

I did try the monitor speakers and also checked both the back and front audio ports, but none of them worked.
