I'm trying to figure out whether I need a CPU cooler or fan for my PC if my case already has fans installed. If a CPU cooler is necessary, I'm curious about where it actually goes in the setup. Do I need to remove a case fan to install the CPU cooler, or do they work together? I'm really close to purchasing my PC, but I want to ensure I make the right choice regarding case and CPU coolers before I do! Are there any recommendations for good coolers?

You definitely need both a CPU cooler and case fans. A CPU cooler goes directly on top of your CPU, and while there’s no such thing as a 'case cooler,' you do need case fans for proper airflow. If you opt for a liquid cooler, bear in mind that it will come with its own fans that might replace a couple of your case fans.
Thanks for clarifying! What about case fans? Do I need to upgrade if I buy a case that already has some included? And is the Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro too much, or would the Peerless Assassin 120 SE suffice?
