Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on how to kick off my journey in learning Kubernetes. I've dabbled in Docker for a few months, and now at work, we're diving into Kubernetes for an upcoming project because of its scalability. I'm a full stack developer but I don't have any prior experience with Kubernetes. I'd love to get involved in the deployment process to expand my knowledge. Are there any tutorials, forums, or websites you recommend for someone who's a total newbie?

The CKA course from Kodekloud is fantastic! It gives you a great understanding of the essential Kubernetes concepts. Also, while you’re doing the course, try to set up a three-node cluster on Vultr or go for K3s or K0s to get hands-on experience. Plus, don’t forget to play around with Minikube locally to save on costs. Trust me, repetition is key—do the deployments and then try them with Helm to reinforce your learning!

Absolutely! I started with CKAD before tackling CKA, and doing more than just the labs really helped me absorb the concepts.

I recommend checking out the book "Kubernetes in Action"; it's been highly recommended in this community. It's a solid resource for getting started!
