Hey everyone! I'm just starting out with programming and have some basic knowledge of Flutter. Right now, I'm focused on learning at my own pace and really want to enjoy the process. I don't need a job right away, but I want to build skills that could help me move away from my current job, which I really dislike.
Here's my concern: I've been trying to learn by asking Claude AI to help me write simple programs step by step, hoping to understand different concepts as I go. However, I often find myself stuck when I try to write code without a guide, and it worries me that maybe I'm not actually learning. Is this a good way to learn, or should I change my strategy? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It's great that you're taking your time with learning! I think a solid foundation in programming basics is essential first. Start with understanding core concepts like data structures and algorithms. Once you're comfortable, the specific languages and tools will come more naturally. Maybe try using a tool like Pseint to practice coding with pseudocode?

I appreciate your thoughts! I've got some basics down from high school, but practicing coding has been tough for me. That's why I’m focusing on this approach. Does the method of using AI help with that?
