Why is my internet so slow when gaming or streaming in HD?

I'm having a frustrating issue with my internet connection. Whenever I try to play video games, stream movies in full HD, or download games, the speed drops drastically. My connection should be around 40-50 Mbps, but I often see speeds as low as 10 Mbps or even 0 Mbps for a few minutes. This happens with 5 devices connected: 4 on Wi-Fi and 1 with an Ethernet cable. I'm using a 4G LTE router with a SIM card, and I really need some advice on how to get a better connection. Can anyone help?

I feel your pain! I had a similar experience. It sounds like your router might struggle with high demand when multiple devices are active. Maybe try switching to the 5GHz band if your router supports it; it can help with speed and stability. Also, consider checking for any background apps on your devices that might be using up bandwidth.

Honestly, 4G connections can be really unstable, especially when you're trying to do multiple high-bandwidth tasks at once. If you can get a wired connection, I would suggest that over using a SIM card router. Sometimes, fiber optics can be an option if it's available in your area, but if your provider says cable is worse, I would double-check that with others in your area. You might also want to limit the number of devices connected at the same time while you're gaming or streaming.
