I'm at my wit's end with this issue on my computer. It all started yesterday when I was trying to play a game with friends, but it took several attempts to load. Since then, it has steadily gotten worse. Now, Discord won't even boot up, and any app that needs internet access is failing. My web browser works intermittently, often throwing a DNS error. I did a speed test, and I'm getting over 800Mbps up and down with no latency issues, so the internet connection seems fine. Here's everything I've tried to fix the problem so far: resetting the computer and modem, running virus scans (all clean), resetting ipconfig, running an sfc scan, pinging 8.8.8.8 (which sometimes works), using a Bluetooth WiFi adapter instead of Ethernet, ensuring there are no proxies enabled, resetting firewall settings to default, enabling TLS 1.3, and even shutting down the computer, unplugging the PSU, and removing the CMOS battery for 30 seconds. Nothing seems to work, and I'm really confused as to why this is only happening on my computer while other devices are fine. Can anyone help?

Try rebuilding your network stack. I've faced similar issues on Windows 8 and 10 before. There are plenty of guides online, including videos, that can walk you through the steps.
Are you running Windows 11? Some users reported issues with a bad patch affecting local host connections.
Have you looked into whether there was an issue with AWS recently? I've heard some users experiencing internet access problems coincided with AWS outages. It might be worth checking out.
I considered that, but I thought those issues were resolved quickly. I'm still stuck, though.

Nope, I'm on the latest version of Windows 10, updated just last week. It'd be surprising if that update caused problems, but I'll check into it.
