Is It Bad to Learn from AI?

I've been using a method to study where I watch various YouTube videos to understand concepts like API gateways, proxies, and load balancers. After that, I take notes and share them with ChatGPT to get help with corrections, fill in gaps, and clarify my understanding. Do you think this is a good way to learn?

I think it’s awesome! I’ve seen junior devs use AI to figure out what to search for because it gives them terms and ideas that get them started. As long as you’re still doing the deep dive into the topic, AI can be very helpful.

For real! When I'm stuck, I ask AI to explain parts of my code. It helps me understand where I went wrong.

Exactly, it’s great for brainstorming and pointing out things you might have missed.

Using AI as a tool is a smart move, but remember, it’s not infallible. Always verify what it says against reliable sources. It’s a helper, not a replacement for understanding.

Absolutely, that sounds like a great way to learn! If AI helps you grasp concepts better and fills in the gaps, then you're on the right path. Just make sure not to rely on it completely.
