I'm building a new PC with a completely new setup, including a new CPU and GPU, but I want to keep my old SSD. I'm unsure about the best approach moving forward. Ideally, I'd prefer not to wipe the SSD and reinstall Windows, but is that the only option? Can I just connect the SSD to the new motherboard, install the necessary drivers for my new components, and uninstall the old ones? Or would it be easier to wipe the SSD and start fresh? I'm a bit lost on what to do.

Just reinstall Windows when you swap to a new PC. Trust me, transferring an SSD like this is going to lead to problems.
If you have Windows 11, it's probably tied to your old hardware, and it won't boot properly. Even if it did boot, it would struggle with drivers for both old and new components, which can lead to all sorts of trouble. A clean install is definitely the way to go!
I suggest wiping the SSD and doing a clean OS install. While you might be able to reuse your old Windows installation with new hardware, you’re likely to face driver issues and software glitches. Starting fresh with Windows 11 will save you a lot of headaches down the road.
