I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card and need some advice. I can only afford a second-hand GPU, so I'm considering the 5070 or the 9070 XT. My main goal is to game at 1440p with as many frames as possible. I'll be playing games like Call of Duty, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Rocket League, and other competitive titles. Additionally, I need this GPU to help create media content for my job, like posters. I'm planning to pair it with a Ryzen 5 9600X, so which option would be the best choice? Should I even consider a new 5060 Ti or 9060 XT?

Definitely go with the 9070 XT! The 5060 Ti and 9060 XT are okay cards, but you’ll definitely notice a drop in performance. Check some benchmarks to see how they stack up against the 9070.

Yeah, doing benchmarks is key! Helps you get a clear picture of what you're getting.

You know, the 5070 is not a bad choice either, but I still think the 9070 is the king when it comes to high-res gaming. Just make sure you're accounting for VRAM if you're planning for future games!

So, you think the 5070 can handle 1440p well?

If you're aiming for the highest frame rates, the 9070 XT is definitely your best bet. The performance leap is significant compared to the 5070. If a warranty comes with it, that's a solid choice!

Just make sure you can manage other parts of your build; you might need to downgrade something else to fit that card!

Honestly, if you're at 1440p, the 9070 XT or even the 5070 Ti is worth considering. Some games are already pushing VRAM requirements higher. Just keep an eye on your overall build compatibility!
