I'm switching from IntelliJ to VS Code since my JetBrains license isn't being renewed. I'm trying to find out which extension is better for Spring development: the Oracle one or the Red Hat one? I'd love to hear experiences from anyone who's used these!

Honestly, your best bet is to just try both extensions and see which one fits your style! That said, a lot of folks seem to prefer IntelliJ overall for Spring projects.

Good point! Plus, Spring support is making its way into the free edition of IntelliJ in the upcoming 2025.3 update, which might sway some users.
