I received a prebuilt PC for Christmas about five years ago, and it's recently turned sluggish and almost unusable. After learning more about PCs, I realized it doesn't have a dedicated GPU, which isn't ideal for gaming. Now, I'm excited to build my own PC from scratch! I've looked at some parts on PCPartPicker and think they might be good, but I'm unsure. I'd love any advice on better components or tips for assembling everything. Here's my current part list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/yV4dBq.
Additional Info:
- Budget: Under £1500
- Main Use: Mostly for gaming, but also for game development and modeling, which I'll need for future projects.

If you're going for optimal performance, consider getting the 9060XT 16GB instead of the 3060. It offers around 50-60% more performance, which is a big deal! You might also be able to save some cash by swapping the 990 Pro for a more mainstream SSD since that's a bit over the top for most users.

What would you suggest as a good alternative to the 990 if I want to avoid overkill?
