Is this RAM pricing typical for the current market?

I'm looking to buy G.Skill DDR5 RAM and found a couple of prices: a 32GB kit (2x16GB) at 6400Mhz for 8100 UAH (around 192 USD) and another version, the Royal Silver, for 8999 UAH (about 214 USD). Given the ongoing conflict in my country, I'm wondering if these prices are reasonable compared to other locations.

Definitely not cool! It's frustrating how AI and corporate greed are really driving up prices for consumers. We're definitely feeling the pinch as prices stay high.

Right? It's like they're taking advantage of the situation.

Nope, prices have been inflated for quite a while now. It could be a mix of companies pretending to give discounts around big sales events and just overall high demand.

That pricing looks pretty standard. It's about what I'm seeing in my area, so it doesn't seem out of the ordinary at all.

Thanks for confirming! That helps a lot.

Yeah, RAM prices are about the same in Canada right now. It seems like it's pretty consistent globally since OpenAI recently bought a big chunk of the RAM market. Not sure how long this situation will last, but I hope manufacturers can increase production and stabilize prices soon!

Totally agree, it feels like a waiting game right now.
