I'm trying to get the most out of my aging gaming PC before I invest in a new one next year. My current setup includes an Intel i7-8700 running at 3.2 GHz, an RTX 2060 graphics card, and 16GB of RAM on an h310m pro-m2 plus motherboard. I primarily play games like World of Warcraft and Anno 1800. I live in Central Europe—how can I upgrade my system on a budget without going overboard?

One of the easiest upgrades you could consider is boosting your RAM to 32GB. You could sell your old 16GB and get a pair of 16GB sticks. Just keep in mind to verify your motherboard's slot capacity as you might need to buy a complete set if you're currently using 2x8GB.

Just a heads up, if your motherboard only has 2 slots, you'll need to replace both. But if you already have 1x16GB, you might just need to add another to keep it simple!
