Hey everyone! I'm new to building PCs, and I'm planning to upgrade my setup from a 3060 Ti and a Ryzen 5600 to a 5080 and a 9800X3D. I just realized that my current motherboard, the Gigabyte B550M DS3H, isn't compatible with the new CPU. Can anyone suggest a good motherboard option that will work with the 9800X3D? Also, I have 32GB of DDR4 RAM. Is that enough, or do I need to upgrade to DDR5? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, even the basics!

For a solid, no-frills motherboard, I recommend checking out the MSI B850 Gaming Plus Wifi. It's a reliable choice unless you have specific features in mind. Just a heads up, you definitely need DDR5 RAM for the 9800X3D, as it doesn't support DDR4 at all.
By the way, do you have any suggestions for good DDR5 RAM sticks? And is 32GB enough, or should I aim for 64GB for better performance?
