Is AT&T Listening to My Calls?

I've been noticing some strange noises on my phone, especially weird clicking sounds when I'm entering my bank information during calls. I also use an AT&T Hotspot, and I've seen my Mac open random windows while connected. Is there something suspicious going on here, or am I just overthinking this?

AT&T actually doesn’t listen to your calls. The clicking sounds you hear are likely just a glitch from your bank’s system rather than any strange monitoring. Plus, it’s not like they would risk a huge PR disaster by spying on random customers. You're more likely just experiencing some tech issues.

But haven't they had PR nightmares before? Maybe there's more to it.

Digital calls don’t work like old-school analogue ones, so there’s no tapping involved. As for your Mac opening windows, could you clarify what it opened while connected to the hotspot? That might help in figuring out what's going on there!

Honestly, if you're not dealing with millions, chances are no one is hacking you. Those noises could be related to the routing system or just the way calls are handled digitally. No need for paranoia!
