I'm currently downloading Battlefield 6, and it's a pretty large file. Since it's taking a while, I was thinking about letting it download overnight so I can play it tomorrow. However, I'm worried about whether this is bad for my new PC. Today is actually my first day using it, and I really don't want to damage it already. My setup includes a Ryzen 7500F, Intel Arc B580, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and 1TB of storage. I checked the temperatures using SpeedFan, and it showed my CPU temperature at 17 degrees Celsius, but the HDD was at 50 degrees Celsius. I'm not sure what an HDD is, but is 50 degrees too high? Should I feel comfortable leaving it downloading overnight?

I don't see why it would be bad. It sounds totally fine to me! Let it download and enjoy playing tomorrow.
Yeah, absolutely! I’ve done overnight downloads a bunch of times without issues.
Honestly, CPUs can get pretty hot, so you shouldn't worry too much. I've had my PC running nonstop for weeks, and it’s perfectly fine!
You're all good! Downloading overnight shouldn’t harm your PC at all. Just make sure it's in a well-ventilated area so it can cool down properly while you're downloading.
Nah, that's not safe at all! Running a PC overnight can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning! Did you take any safety classes? It’s actually not allowed!
Isn't HDD what you mean? Because chips usually can handle temps up to 90 to 95 degrees without damage depending on their load. You should be okay leaving it on overnight.
