I'm curious if anyone has experience with doing PSD to HTML conversions as a freelance gig. I'm interested in finding remote work that focuses only on front-end development, and I'm wondering if this is a viable option or if there are better alternatives.

You're not alone in wondering about this. But FYI, using PSD for web development hasn't been common for over a decade. If someone still does that, it's a sign they might need to update their skills! 😂
Right? A recent chat with a designer revealed that some places are still creating SWF files from PDFs in 2025. Crazy, right? But I guess if the money's good, why not!
Honestly, PSD to HTML is usually seen as a pretty outdated method. Photoshop wasn't really designed for web design, and there are far better tools out there now for handling web projects.
I get that! It's wild to think some companies are still clinging to old methods.
