I'm having a persistent issue with my MX Master 3S mouse on Windows 11. Every day, I find that I need to re-add it to my system because it keeps disconnecting. Right now, its entry appears nine times in the 'Bluetooth & devices' section of the settings. I'm using Windows 11 version 24H2 with a TP-Link USB Bluetooth dongle. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?

It sounds like you might need to tweak a few settings. Firstly, check the power management settings for your Bluetooth dongle. Right-click on the Start button, go to Device Manager, and find your Bluetooth adapter. Under Properties, go to the Power Management tab and uncheck 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.' Also, do the same for the USB Root Hubs under Universal Serial Bus Controllers. This should help keep your connection stable. Don't forget to update your dongle's drivers, too—they can make a significant difference!
Always download drivers from official sources. Updating to the latest drivers can resolve connectivity issues, especially with devices like Bluetooth dongles.
Make sure your USB settings aren’t disabling power to the dongle. Also, try uninstalling the Bluetooth adapter and the mouse entries completely, then reinstall the adapter and reconnect your mouse. Sometimes a fresh start helps clear up stubborn issues.
I tried that but some entries wouldn't delete. I found an updated driver from TP-Link and it significantly improved the connection!

I updated my driver to the latest one from TP-Link and everything seems to be working smoothly now!
