Hey everyone! I'm wrapping up my math degree and am eager to dive into app creation because I have plenty of ideas. However, I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed since I have no coding background, and with AI tools now handling a lot of coding tasks, I'm unsure where to begin. Should I still learn the fundamentals of coding myself, or should I lean toward no-code or AI-assisted development? My goal is to make a living from my own apps by next year, so any advice, learning paths, or personal experiences would be really appreciated!

There's a huge misconception that AI can replace the need for human coders—it's just not true. AI tools are useful for generating small code snippets or answering simple questions. For real development, you’ll still need to know how to code. I recommend checking out Harvard's CS50x course; it’s free and excellent for grasping the fundamentals of programming.

Thanks for breaking that down! I’m still learning, so it helps to hear this. I’ll definitely check out the CS50x course!
