I'm transitioning to Linux and will start with Mint since I've heard great things about it for beginners. However, I'm really intrigued by Omarchy, which is a pre-configured Arch Hyprland OS with a striking aesthetic and UI. But I have no coding experience and I mostly do light tasks like browsing and Discord calls. I wonder if diving into Omarchy would be a good next step for someone like me, or if it's better to stick with Mint for now.

I looked into Omarchy too, but ultimately decided it wasn't for me. For a beginner, sticking with Mint or other popular distros is wise since they have a larger user base and plenty of documentation available. This will make troubleshooting much easier.

I agree, Mint definitely feels like a better fit for me anyway. Thank you!
