I'm thinking about diving into streaming from my PC, and I'm considering whether I should invest in a dedicated streaming rig. I currently have a powerful setup with an Nvidia 5090 FE, an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 64GB of RAM, and about 2TB of storage. I'm curious to know if getting a separate PC for streaming would be a good move, and if so, how to allocate my budget for it. I've been having a blast playing ARC Raiders, which is driving this thought. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Some people are saying you might be overthinking this. Your setup can handle OBS and gaming at the same time no sweat. Unless you really want to use your old PC for streaming, I think you’re fine as is!
You’re totally good with what you have! No need for a separate streaming PC. Focus on getting a nice monitor or maybe treat yourself or your partner to a weekend out instead!
Honestly, just stick with your current PC. It’s got more than enough power for streaming. You could save your budget for upgrades or other fun stuff like new games or some nice peripherals!
Ha, honestly, why would you even want a dedicated PC? If you really want to, just buy an extra monitor and you can run OBS, chat, and even edit without a second machine!
If you’re just looking for streaming, your rig is basically a powerhouse. If you want to keep things tidy, consideration for a Home Theater PC setup might be worth it. But I wouldn’t recommend breaking the bank on another high-end build when what you’ve got works perfectly fine.

That’s kind of what I was thinking, maybe just upgrading my old PC instead for streaming and editing. Thanks for the input!
