I've been receiving alerts about 'suspicious activity' on my Google account, and it's confusing because my account isn't locked, and I don't need password assistance. I just want to diagnose the issue. This is the second time this has happened recently. When I click on the alert, it only says there's suspicious activity on my device but doesn't specify what the issue is. The first time, I thought it might have been due to the Google Play emulator which I hadn't used in a while, but now I've received a second alert without using it again. The account menu is so complicated that it's tough to track down what caused the alert. I have two-factor authentication enabled, and I didn't get any weird login attempt notifications. I verified all the devices but the alerts keep coming from Google. Could it possibly be related to my VPN? It seems strange since I enabled it a few hours before getting logged out, and I've been using it without issues for years. Any tips on how to resolve this?

You might want to reach out to Google support and see if they can shed some light on what's going on.
It sounds like someone might be trying to sign into your account but failing because of the authentication requirements. Alternatively, it could be a third-party app that's attempting to access your account.
If it were someone trying to sign in, wouldn’t you get a 2FA notification? I mean, I got one when I signed in, but nothing for unknown attempts. Plus, doesn’t Google track failed login attempts?

Yeah, I’ll give that a shot, but I’ve heard their customer service isn’t that great. Figured I’d ask for help here first.
