Hey folks! I put together my PC back in 2017, and it's been running well, but lately it's struggling with newer games. I want to know what upgrades would give me the most bang for my buck without breaking the bank. Here's what I'm working with: MSI Z270 motherboard, Intel Core i5-7600K, 16 GB of RAM, and an MSI GTX 1060 GPU. I mostly game at 1080p, sometimes at 1440p. What's the first thing I should upgrade to see a noticeable performance boost?

Honestly, going for a new GPU and power supply is your best bet. Modern GPUs will give you a significant lift in performance for your gaming needs. You might want to consider a GTX 1080 Ti for a solid upgrade, but keep in mind you might also want a new PSU to support it.
If you're really just looking for maximum performance on a budget, I'd say hold off on a complete rebuild; a nice new graphics card will really transform your gaming experience. But ultimately, saving for a fresh build might be the best long-term investment.
Upgrading to a new GPU could definitely stretch the life of your current setup. If you're looking at the GTX 1080 Ti, it’d give you a great performance boost! Just remember, your PSU needs to be capable enough to handle that, too!
