Do I Need to Add More Fans for My New LIAN LI LANCOOL 216 Case?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC case and I want to make sure I keep everything cool. Here's my current setup: I have a CG: 9070xt Mercury XFX OC, a B450 Tomahawk Max 2 motherboard, a Samsung 990 Pro SSD, Trident Z RAM, and a 120mm Assassin Peerless CPU cooler, all powered by a 5700X3D CPU. I'm planning to switch from my current Masterbox Lite 5 (which gets super hot, hitting 91°C in CS:GO at 4K ultra) to the LIAN LI LANCOOL 216. My question is, will I need to add more fans to get better airflow, or is the stock setup good enough? Thanks for your help!

I think you’ll be fine with the fans that come with the Lancool 216, especially since they’re large and efficient. If you're really concerned about heat, you can always monitor your temps after the switch and see how it goes. Upgrading your fans to RGB ones might also be a fun touch!

Exactly! Monitoring is key. If you find your temps are still high, then you can look into adding more fans, but I think you'll be okay initially.

The LIAN LI LANCOOL 216 comes with two large 160mm fans in the front and a 140mm fan at the back, which should be plenty for most setups. But depending on how hot your components run and your specific usage, you might want more airflow. Since you mentioned your current case gets really hot, it could be worth considering a couple of extra fans for improved cooling, especially during gaming.

Yeah, if you're pushing those high settings, adding a couple more fans could help a lot. Better airflow means lower temperatures. You might not need them, but it wouldn't hurt to have the option.
