Hi everyone! I'm about to order my first PC build and would love your feedback before I make it final. My aim is to game at 1440p on my ultrawide monitor while ensuring solid thermals and a long lifespan. I'll also want a clean look without any flashy RGB lights.

Here's my planned build:
- Case: Corsair 3000D Airflow
- Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi (AM5)
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F
- Cooler: PCCOOLER RZ400
- GPU: SAPPHIRE PULSE AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB
- RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5 6000 MHz CL32 (2x16GB)
- SSD: Samsung Internal SSD 990 Evo Plus NVMe M.2 PCIe 4.0
- PSU: ADATA XPG CORE REACTOR II VE 850W 80+ Gold

My budget is around $1300 USD, and if there are better value components, I'm open to considering those too! This PC will primarily be for gaming, especially since I'm moving on from a Lenovo Legion laptop with an RTX 3050 4 GB, which is a massive upgrade for me. I'll also do some general work on it.

I'm looking for feedback on:
- Part compatibility
- The quality of the PSU and cooler
- Any good value components I should consider

Thanks a lot for your help!

Consider looking for a motherboard that supports PCIe 5.0 for the GPU, just in case future hardware taps into that tech. It could be beneficial down the line!

I get your point about PCIe 5.0! But do you think it's actually necessary right now? How soon before PCIe 4.0 starts to hold us back?

I made a few tweaks to your build that could enhance performance while saving you some cash. Check out this revised list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/g6gnYd. I swapped in a better CPU, chose a case with more fans for improved airflow, and found a more economical PSU. Plus, the GPU already has three fans which is great!

Thanks for putting together your adjusted list! I really appreciate it and will definitely consider these suggestions, especially with the focus on just overall better value.
