High CPU Temperatures on My New PC – Is This Normal?

I just built a new PC today, and I'm getting some concerning CPU temperature readings. When idle, it's around 55-70 degrees Celsius, but during gameplay in PUBG, it spikes to about 95 degrees. Here are the specs of my setup:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F (3.7GHz, 6 Cores, 38MB Cache, AM5, 5nm)
- **Motherboard**: MSI PRO B650M-E (6800MHz OC, M.2, AM5, mATX)
- **RAM**: Patriot Viper Venom EXPO 16GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30
- **GPU**: MSI GeForce RTX 5060 Gaming OC 8G (8GB GDDR7)
- **Storage**: MSI Spatium M470 Pro 1TB NVMe SSD
- **Case & PSU**: MSI MAG Forge 120A B65 (650W)
- **Cooler**: Evercool C80 120mm Air Cooler

Should I be concerned about these temperatures? What can I do to cool down my CPU?

That temp is pretty normal under load for some CPUs, but 95 degrees is quite high. Make sure to clean your CPU cooler fans and consider reapplying thermal paste if it's been a while. It can help with better heat transfer!

Is 95 really normal? I just bought this a couple of hours ago.

Just to be safe, keep an eye on that. You might want to check your power settings and cooling setup. If you're hitting thermal limits, it's always good to have a backup plan (like a better cooler) handy!

If your temps are still too high after tweaking, you might want to consider upgrading your cooler. That one’s pretty basic, and there are better options out there that can keep things cooler, especially under load.
