I'm currently setting up some 48-port Aruba switches for a new office, and I'm looking for advice on labeling them. Usually, I just print small labels and trim them to fit, but I'm wondering if there are better options out there. Right now, I only have a basic Dymo LetraTag for labeling. Any suggestions?

Why not label the actual cables? You can keep a digital record of what each port connects to, so when someone unplugs something, you know exactly where it belongs. Additionally, a matching label on the switch can help you track what connects to each office, like 204B for example.
One idea is to print a large A4 diagram that labels everything and stick it on the panel door. This way, if anyone shifts anything around, they can annotate the diagram and return it to you for updates. It’s been working well for me since I’m the only one on my team, but it might help keep things organized!
I like to place labels on the top side of the chassis towards the front in the corner. It’s a simple spot that’s easy to access and see without overcomplicating things.
That sounds really practical! I have mine on the front too, but sometimes I wish I could see them easier when checking connections.
