I'm currently testing out my second mini-PC, and I've hit a wall with running VirtualBox on it. The Asus NUC14 Pro I'm using, like my previous Geekom A9 Max AI, has hidden BIOS settings that block me from adjusting what I need to allow Windows 11 Pro to run VirtualBox. After spending days trying to disable Hyper-V and follow various instructions, it seems my changes are ignored and reversed every time I reboot. I chose VirtualBox because it's multi-platform and open source, and I want to use it across multiple machines that can't run Hyper-V. Has anyone found a way around these restrictions?

For me, VirtualBox works fine alongside Hyper-V. There's a guide from Oracle that confirms this. What if you try to fully enable Hyper-V again and then run VirtualBox? Are there any errors popping up now?

Wow! I didn't know that was even possible, but I did see a note about it potentially slowing down performance. Have you thought about disabling Virtualization-Based Security (VBS) to resolve this? It can be complicated, but using the Device Guard and Credential Guard hardware readiness tool might be necessary. Just make sure you have Admin PowerShell for it.
