I recently bought a new PC and I've realized I might need to update the firmware on my SSD. However, when I check the manufacturer, it just shows up as 'Standard Disk Drive.' I'm not sure how to find the actual manufacturer of my SSD. Any advice?

Have you tried using CrystalDiskInfo? That tool can also give you the manufacturer's details.
You might want to try using HWinfo software in Sensor Only mode. It usually shows the name of your drives, including SSDs.
