I built my PC during the pandemic and have gradually been upgrading various components. Initially, I added a 128GB SSD for the operating system, a 500GB HDD for games, a GTX 1050Ti for the GPU, and 32GB of DDR3 RAM. Recently, I upgraded to a 500GB SSD for larger games. I'm now looking into CPU upgrades for my LGA1150 setup. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Honestly, there aren't really any good LGA1150 CPUs worth purchasing in 2025, especially if you're looking for significant performance improvements. You might end up needing a whole new motherboard and RAM for a worthwhile upgrade.
Do you know which motherboard you’re using? And what CPU do you have right now? It might help narrow down your options.
I can't pinpoint the exact motherboard model, but I have an HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF.

I hear you, but I'm on a budget, so I'm taking a slow approach with upgrades. My PC runs most applications fine; it's just that I'd like a CPU that could enhance my current setup without breaking the bank.
