Before diving into AI, try mood boarding first! Find about 5-10 designs that inspire you and compile them. I suggest Figma for this—you can take screenshots of your inspirations and paste them into a blank canvas. This way, you can analyze what you like about each design, which makes it easier to define your own style. Sketching out ideas on paper can also be really beneficial. AI tools are cool, but understanding the basics first will make you much better at using them later.

Using a pen and paper can open up a lot of creative possibilities. AI tools like Gamma can help with generating layouts, but I wouldn't rely on AI just yet if you're looking to learn the process. You'll gain a lot more by sketching out designs yourself.

Have you checked out Figma? It's a great tool for UI/UX design and it has some AI features. Just be prepared for it to look a bit like AI-generated chaos at times! But honestly, Figma is super helpful for visualizing your ideas.

Check out Gamma! I use it for creating landing pages, and it's surprisingly good. You can just describe what you want—like 'modern SaaS dashboard with a dark theme'—and it generates the layout for you. The designs it produces actually make sense, rather than just random elements. Give it a go!
