Hey everyone! I'm currently working on a school project and I'm looking for some input from people who are already in the workforce, particularly those in their 20s to 60s. I want to understand how normal folks really learn and utilize AI in their careers, beyond just the buzzwords we hear everywhere. My aim is to create a fun, engaging course that helps people pick up essential AI skills without it feeling like a chore. Before I start designing anything, I need to get a sense of whether there's interest in learning about AI and what aspects might make it easier or more enjoyable. If you have experience in your job, I'd love to hear your thoughts on:
- Are you interested in learning to use AI at work?
- What would make that learning process more appealing for you?
- Or do you find AI irrelevant to your work?
I appreciate any insights you can share!

I’m in identity and access management for banking, and I use AI daily for scripting tasks. It really enhances error checking and makes coding much more efficient. The key for me is seeing more programming languages adopt AI tools; that would really broaden its application. Oh, and I think AI is extremely useful, but it's important not to see it as a replacement for human jobs. People bring personal insights that AI can’t replicate. It’s best used to complement human decisions rather than replace them.
