I'm curious about the right time to make users create accounts to access features on my website. It's a user-generated content platform where I could allow guest access for creating content before requiring a full account. I'm unsure if this is the best approach or if I should just require users to sign up before they can create anything. The user experience is somewhat similar to Kahoot but for a different context. Any thoughts or experiences you could share would be super helpful!

I think a good approach could be to give a sample experience without an account—like a free first chapter or a shortened game. When users see the value, they'll be more willing to sign up for additional content. Just be aware that a lot of people still expect free access to everything!
If you let users try things out as guests, it could help keep them engaged. Make it so they only need to sign up if they want to save or share their creations; that way they can see the value first!

Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it. Did you use many hints? Can your game be played?
