I'm putting together my first PC build and want to make sure everything's set up right. I'm not aiming for the absolute highest specs, but I do want an optimal configuration that avoids any issues while delivering a great experience at 1440p and for VR. Here's what I've got so far:
- **Case:** NZXT H5 Flow 2024 aRGB
- **Motherboard:** ASUS AM5 B850 TUF Gaming B850-PLUS WIFI
- **Cooler:** ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240
- **Processor:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- **Graphics Card:** ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 OC Edition
- **RAM:** ADATA Lancer 64GB (2x 32GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30
- **SSD:** Kingston FURY Renegade G5 2TB
- **Power Supply:** Fortron 1000W ATX 3.1 80+ Gold Modular
- **Monitor:** 26.5" ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP
If anyone sees something that could be optimized within the same price range, please let me know!

Everything looks fine overall! Just a thought, I haven't heard of the PSU brand; do you have the specific model? Also, for gaming, a Gen4 SSD would likely be sufficient rather than going for the Gen5—you could save some cash there.
Your build looks solid! The monitor choice is excellent, really enhances the gaming experience. Just a quick note, maybe reconsider the amount of RAM; 64GB is a lot for most gaming needs. A lower amount might be more cost-effective unless you really need that for AI development.
Haha, true! The vendor also suggested 32GB of RAM, but I read that ADATA has better heatsinks and the CL30 is a sweet spot. Going with 64GB gives me some headroom for future projects.

Good point! The PSU is actually an FSP VITA GM 1000, 80PLUS GOLD, 1000W. Thanks for the tip about the SSD!
