I'm currently using an Intel i5-12400F with 32GB of DDR4 3200 RAM and an RX 9060 XT 16GB graphics card. While playing Battlefield 6 on low settings with FSR, I'm experiencing frame rates dropping below 90 or 100 fps, especially on larger maps. I'm considering an upgrade to either the Ryzen 5 7500F for around $443 or the 9600X for about $536, along with a new B650 motherboard and DDR5 6000 MHz RAM. Do you think it's worth spending that amount now, or would it be better to stick with my current i5 setup for 1440p gaming?

Honestly, I don't think an upgrade is worth it right now, especially with those prices. You might want to hold off until the market stabilizes.
Prices for CPUs, GPUs, and RAM are pretty outrageous right now. As long as you're getting decent frame rates, it might be best to wait it out until things go down a bit.
I wouldn't spend that much unless you really need the performance boost. If you do want to upgrade, I'd recommend going for the 9600X over the 7500F. A more budget-friendly option could be to look for a 13600K or 14600K that can fit into your current setup, as long as you're not using a proprietary motherboard.
The motherboard I have is a prebuilt Asus Prime H610M-K D4, so I’m not sure if it can handle those chips.

Any suggestions for a decent upgrade if I change my mind?
