Today, I opened Firefox, and three fully transparent, flashing windows popped up briefly before disappearing. I didn't see the names of those windows, and I'm a bit concerned. I ran scans with Bitdefender and Microsoft Defender, and all of them reported my system as clean. I also checked the shell:autostart and shell:appsfolder for suspicious programs, but everything seems fine. The only file I downloaded recently was a zip of an old game from MediaFire, which also scanned as clean. Should I be worried about these flashing windows? By the way, I'm using Windows 11. This hasn't happened again since I restarted my PC.

If you've ruled out malware with the scans, I think you're fine! Just make sure you run offline scans with your antivirus software for an extra layer of safety, just in case.
Yeah, like others mentioned, it's probably nothing to stress about. If your antivirus tools didn't catch anything and you ran those scans, you should be in the clear. Just keep an eye on your extensions and make sure nothing suspicious shows up there.
Could definitely be a quick flash from your system running commands during an update, not just Firefox. It's a common occurrence with many apps, so if it hasn't come back, I'd say it's nothing to worry about.
It might have just been the Firefox auto updater doing its thing. Sometimes, updates can trigger quick commands that flash for a second. Don't worry too much about it unless it starts happening frequently!
