Why does my PC only stay on when GPU fans are at full speed?

I've been having issues with my computer where it unexpectedly restarts when I start playing games or running demanding software. This started happening a few days ago, even though everything was working fine before. I had my GPU checked, and it was confirmed to be functioning well. The only way I can keep my PC from shutting down is by setting the GPU fans to run at 100%. I've monitored the temperatures, and they stay below 73°C. My power supply is a Gamemax GP650, which is only 5 months old. I've activated the warranty, but I don't want to send it in unless I'm sure that's the problem. Could it be causing these restarts? Here are my specs: i5 12400F, GTX 1660, 16GB DDR4, 512GB SSD, 1TB HDD, 240mm Water Cooler, and 7 ARGB Fans.

Have you tried running your computer without the side panels? This might improve airflow and cooling, helping to prevent those unexpected restarts.

Check the 8-pin PCIe connector. If it gets too hot, it might be triggering the reboot. When the GPU fans are at full speed, they're cooling the connector down. If you can, try using a different 8-pin from your power supply; your 650W unit should ideally have multiple PCIe cables available.

When you run your GPU fans at 100%, what are your GPU temperatures? Also, keep an eye on your CPU temps while you're at it. It could help narrow down the cause of the shutdowns.
